WWE BELIEVED RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR OCT. ten

The song lyrics are Claire’s thing, but in honor of DX’s birthday, how about a little something from 1997?

Mmmbop, ba duba dopBa du bop, ba duba dopBa du bop, ba duba dopBa du, oh yeah

Now with the show…

Shawn Michaels chats backstage with Road Dogg and X-Pac, all dressed in the familiar black and green. They wonder if they are ready? They are, but no matter if they’re ready… is he ready? The camera pans to the content director sitting at the production desk.

Triple H says there’s a lot going on and he can’t really get involved. He just asks that they keep it clean, not wearing or talking about genitals. This leads to a lot of swearing and a gag on the four “roosters” sitting on the desk – rubber chickens. The trio eventually leave Haitch to “choke the chicken” as they leave. He sees them leave, telling them “no fight”.

I know I’m not the only middle-aged person laughing at this.

After the intro, Corey Graves welcomes us to the show and introduces his new partner, Kevin Patrick. They are exhausting the map.

THE BLOODLINE IS HERE! We get a recap of their SmackDown scene, and Logan Paul attempts to bring back the Jey Uso/Roman Reigns issue from two years ago.

Reigns makes Brooklyn wait while they make a lot of noise (mainly for Sami Zayn). After having them recognized, he puts Jey on the spot. As the tribal leader approaches his cousin, Zayn asks if he can take care of it. Reigns looks upset, then laughs and says that Sami really is the Honorary Uce.

Sami says they all love Jey, but lately he hasn’t been really… Uce-y. Everybody loves Jimmy, and Solo Sikoa is tough, but also fun. That’s the thing, they’re all fun. Can Jey just relax? Uso is furious and asks Roman to tell him if it’s a joke. Are they teasing him?

Before they go any further, Matt Riddle interrupts them. Why don’t they talk about his win over Seth Rollins at Fight Pit? He knows he’s agreed to stop fighting for the titles as long as Reigns holds them, but what about making an exception for Brooklyn? Reigns teases by agreeing, then says “no”. Bro says okay, how about someone else in The Bloodline? Jey proposes Zayn, who initially differs, but gets upset when Riddle taunts him by saying “Yeet”. When he does it again, Jey says that Riddle is disrespecting him, causing Zayn to challenge Riddle. A challenge that is accepted with a “Yeet”.

After a few commercials, a recap recaps all the action from last Saturday Extreme Rules premium live event.

Austin Theory vs. Johnny Gargano

Gargano brings it to his “son” from the bell, lighting him up with chops and kicks as the crown chants “Johnny Wrestling.” The theory takes place after taking a hurricane and taking punches on the apron. But he counters One Final Beat there and points Johnny to the toughest part of the ring as we go picture in picture.

He remained in charge on the small screen, but Gargano’s comeback begins as soon as we return. Cross the ropes, but the rollout trick works again when he grabs a springboard Johnny with a left hand and follows it up with A Town Down for two. Scramble sees the two men locked in Garga-No Escape, but both men escape. A superkick puts Gargano down for some set-ups, but Johnny comes back with his own superkick and a ground dive in a DDT! Back inside, One Final Beat ends it.
