Fancy outdoor music? Later this month you have plenty of options without leaving the peninsula. We have already spoken West Seattle Summer Festival – now just two weeks away, July 15, 16 and 17 at The Junction, with music on Friday and Saturday. Also in front:

CONCERT IN THE PARK: The West Seattle Big BandThe annual summer concert is at a new location this year, since Hiawatha (as previously discussed) is not available. You can enjoy the swing sounds of the WSBB at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, in High Point Commons Park (3201 SW Graham).
MUSIC UNDER THE STARS: At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday July 16, at Seattle Chinese Garden (6000 16th SW), and at the same time on Thursday, July 21, at High Point Commons Park, the Seattle Chamber Music Society brings this series back to West Seattle. An up-and-coming chamber ensemble will perform live for half an hour, then you’ll be invited to stay and watch a big-screen presentation of one of the SCMS Summer Festival concerts.
ALKI ART FAIR: The three-day beach festival celebrating creativity is back, and music is a big part of it. On Friday evening (July 22), a DJ will spin. Then on Saturday and Sunday (July 23-24), two full lists of live artists – morning to night on Saturday, morning to afternoon on Sunday. You can see the full lineup on the Alki Art Fair website.
