Pleasant but cooler weekend expected

Welcome to the weekend! We will see a mix of sun and cloud this weekend with temperatures a little cooler than what we have seen throughout the week.

Highs on Saturday will be in the 60s. We will see a chance of a shower or two on Saturday as an upper level low moves through the area. This could help produce puffy clouds and isolated showers.

A light breeze will develop this afternoon with a few gusts to 20-25 mph in places. Winds will come from the west.

Overnight, if the wind drops in your area, we might see some scattered frost. This will most likely be in inland areas where temperatures will drop into the upper 30s.

Sunday’s weather will be very similar to Saturday’s, but with less chance of rain. Again in the afternoon, it will be a bit of a westerly breeze.

Heading into the work week, we leave the 60s behind and climb rapidly into the 70s and 80s for highs as high pressure sets in in the southeastern United States.

Saturday evening is the start of the races at Langley Speedway! If you go there, expect temperatures in the 50s.

I hope you are having a good weekend!
