Crackdown on anti-social behavior in Preston city center continues
During National Anti-Social Behavior Week, Preston Police will tackle Anti-Social Behavior (ASB) through its police operation, Op Pavilion.

The operation is part of the Preston Neighborhood Police’s response to the ASB in Preston city centre.
The purpose of ASB National Week is to encourage communities to take a stand against the ASB, as well as to highlight the work the force does day in and day out to address issues of antisocial behavior.

As part of the week, the Neighborhood Team will conduct high-visibility patrols of event locations and key ASB hotspots, as well as gathering information and intelligence on which to act. Officers will also be involved in early intervention with youth.
Chief Inspector Sue Bushell of Preston Police said: ‘From the feedback we receive from residents and businesses, we know that anti-social behavior is high on everyone’s list of problems.
“That’s why we’re working with partners across the city to share information and proactively address these concerns.
“We know that the fight against the ASB is not just a week of activity and that is why we are working on a long-term strategy with our partners to move forward with a number of covert operations. and manifestos.”
