The Newcastle United Blog | Newcastle release training footage from today’s session
Newcastle have released this week’s rendition of Toon in training. While it’s hard to glean team news from these galleries, there were no injured Magpies in any of the practice footage.

The collection of 49 photographs did not involve a sighting of Allan Saint-Maximin. The winger has missed the last 8 out of 9 games after picking up a hamstring injury in the draw against Wolves.
Eddie Howe has confirmed that Allan suffered a setback between his comeback against Brentford and the draw at Manchester United. Joelinton was given the go-ahead left at Spurs after Jacob Murphy had started the previous four matches.
Alexander Isak, Paul Dummett and Matt Ritchie are yet to return to training, with Isak ruled out until the end of the World Cup. Karl Darlow has also not been spotted despite apparently progressing from his ankle injury.
Elliot Anderson, who received a knock during his cameo against Everton, remains uncertain. The young Geordie was not in any of the photographs. He missed out on victory at Spurs this weekend.
As he did last week, Eddie Howe had a handful of youngsters in the mix. Midfielder Joe White, striker Isaac Westendorf and goalkeeper Jude Smith continue to work with the first team.
A slight cause for concern is that Callum Wilson and Chris Wood were not spotted in any of the footage. Hopefully there is a pedestrian explanation for this as there are no other striking options available.
