Russia won’t stop campaign even if Ukraine backs down from NATO aspirations
A top ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Moscow will not stop its military campaign in Ukraine even if Kyiv officially gives up its aspirations to join NATO.
Former President Dmitry Medvedev, now Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, also said in a French television interview that Russia was ready to talk to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky under certain conditions.
