Microsoft Third Quarter Earnings Live Blog

Tech investors are hoping Microsoft will help calm the nerves of jittery markets by posting strong sales and earnings numbers once again.

Among analysts polled by FactSet, the consensus is that the software giant is reporting revenue of $49.02 billion for the March quarter (fiscal third quarter) (up 17.5% yoy), GAAP EPS of $2.18 and non-GAAP EPS of $2.19.

Microsoft typically shares its revenue forecasts for its 3 business segments during its earnings call. The company’s revenue consensus for the June quarter is $52.75 billion (up 14%).
