LIVE BLOG: Follow Purdue’s Big Ten tournament game with Penn State in real time
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –Purdue Basketball opens its Big Ten tournament as the No. 3 seed with a quarterfinal game against No. 11 seed Penn State on Friday night inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The game is scheduled to start 25 minutes after a game between Wisconsin and Michigan State, around 9 p.m. ET. The Boilermakers are looking for their first tournament victory since defeating the Nittany Lions in the semi-finals in 2018.

Michigan State No. 7 69, Wisconsin No. 2 63 – The Spartans beat the Badgers to advance to the semifinals of Saturday’s Big Ten tournament. The team was led by senior center Marcus Bingham Jr., who tied a career high with 19 points.
Wisconsin was led by senior guard Brad Davison, who scored a game-high 23 points before committing a foul late in the second period. Big Ten Player of the Year Johnny Davis had just 11 points as he struggled with foul issues throughout the contest.
Davis was just 3-for-19 from the field, but managed a team-high 11 rebounds. The Badgers made just 37% of their shots in the loss and were 57% from the free throw line.
Michigan State is moving on and will face the winner of Friday night’s game between No. 3 seed Purdue and No. 11 Penn State. Play begins around 9 p.m. ET.
