Region 8 is the largest in Class 4A with a 9-team region battling for all four playoff spots. The action begins in earnest this week with Cedar Shoals and East Forsyth. Cedar Shoals are 0-2 after a 58-13 loss to Monroe Area last week and East Forsyth are 1-0 after a 48-0 win over Seckinger.
