AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FROM JUNE 22

Oh no baby, you found yourself in love with a concept again. Oh no, I think you’ve gone and lost what’s on your mind. You say you want me, but I want to blog live on this pro wrestling show for these people.

The show opens with the intro video.

We got a bit of Christian Cage spinning on Jungle Boy last week.

“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson enters and Tony Schiavone interviews him in the ring.

Danielson says he’s just going to take the mic and not give it back, and says this week is a great week to be an AEW fan and a professional wrestling fan. He talks about Forbidden Door on Sunday, then Blood & Guts in Dynamite next week. He likes that Milwaukee is as fired up about the violence as he is, and he says he expected to be a part of both events.

Chris Jericho paid Zack Saber, Jr. to challenge him to a match and he was not only thrilled to prove he wasn’t the best technical wrestler, he was thrilled to crush his trachea, and he was thrilled to get revenge on Jericho and his crew for Anarchy in the Arena, but sadly he has good news and bad news.

The bad news is that because of what Jericho and Hager put him through, he is not allowed to compete at all next week. But, lest anyone worry about his overall health, you can probably say his mind is at 100% capacity and he can run two miles without breaking a sweat, he’ll be back.

He says there’s not a man in the world who can wrestle in this ring like he does right now, and that’s not even the good news. The good news is that Eddie Kingston has publicly stated that he’s a critical asshole and you’re absolutely right. And because of that, he has really, really high standards, so you know when he promises us something is going to be amazing, it’s going to be amazing.

He’s found the one person he trusts to take his place at Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts, the one person he knows in the whole world who will bring him to ZSJ technically and then go kick the ass. head of Chris Jericho and we’re all going to be amazed by what he does in AEW.

Who? Don’t you know he came out of the wicked tunnel? He won’t tell us, but he won’t tell Zack Saber, Jr. either, so tune in Sunday to find out.

Enter Zack Saber, Jr.

He chews on Danielson while the comments promote Forbidden Door.

Jon Moxley cuts a promo somewhere in the arena.

He says sometimes it’s business and sometimes it’s personal and at Blood & Guts it will be personal. Blinded his best friend, put his partner on the shelf, and next week we’ll see if the Jericho Appreciation Society can survive. We will find out how much they are willing to suffer and what they are willing to endure.

But before that, he has the biggest match of his life, fighting Hiroshi Tanahashi for the interim AEW World Championship. He’s transformed into a better man for three years and on Sunday he will become who he always knew he could be when he steps into the ring with the Ace.

Tonight is business, but Sunday is personal, and once the bell rings, he has no respect for anyone.

Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) vs. UNITED EMPIRE (Kyle Fletcher, Mark “Dunkzilla” Davis & Will Ospreay)

Romero and Fletcher to start, some light mat grappling, Rocky with a kick combo and a tag to Beretta, off the ropes, double knees, Trent with a lariat! Davis in, tag to Cassidy, quick tags, loading lariats on Mark, stereo dives but the UNITED EMPIRE grabs them and slams them together then into the apron to send us to the breaking point.

Back from publicity, Beretta is hard at work but tags Cassidy! The lazy kicks at the Aussie Open, the Frankensteiner double, the Frankensteiner double jump on Davis, the DDT tornado on Fletcher! Diving three copies of the babyface team, suplexing Ospreay into the ropes, guillotine leg drop, falling splashes, Will kicks!

Orange and Will in it, Cassidy’s Stundog Millionaire and the tags done! Romero overwhelms Dunkzilla at first, a big chop takes him out and UNITED EMPIRE works him, assisted spinebuster, match breaks down to everyone doing something cool (that Romero’s Shiranui!) until RPG Vice lays Kyle down with stereo knees!

Strong Zero knocked down with a roundhouse kick, Davis hits Close Your Eyes and Count to Fuck… NOT GOOD! Ospreay goes for the Sasuke Special, nobody’s home, Rocky takes him out with a dive, the Aussie Open brings him up, Beretta knocks down and tags Orange in…

Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice win by pinfall with Cassidy’s Orange Punch over Kyle Fletcher.

After the match, Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan come to help their stable mates and face off with the advantage 5 against 3… AND FTR SAVES THE SAVINGS!

We come backstage with Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh.

Dutt is excited and wants to go to India to celebrate but Lethal wants to win the ROH TV title but Samoa Joe has been out for almost a month so he can either tap that shoulder and get back to work or vacate the title so Lethal can recover do it anyway.

And so we’re going to take a break.

Back from the commercial, Tony Schiavone introduces Christian Cage for an in-ring interview.

Cage is in great shape, talks trash to the crowd, and said he was never going to let Jungle Boy get away with knocking him out of the Casino Battle Royal last year. And yes, it’s mean-spirited, but the fan reaction to his elimination made it even harder. He did a little background check on Jack and decided against his best judgment to go on social media.

The social media struggle became a cesspool of people telling him how to do his job, and Perry cost him a lot of money by losing that paycheck, so he did his research and figured he’d tie it up. his cart to Perry to get that paycheck. . Do you think he came back to help the next generation? It’s bullshit, he came here to make money and that’s it.

Want to earn his paycheck? Try to have a match that people are talking about for more than a week after it happened. He says Jungle Boy has talent but he doesn’t have the brains and the one time he doesn’t give him advice before the match he loses the tag titles?

The sauce train has dried up and now he has to take control and get his hands dirty and it pisses him off. We get footage of him yelling at Jack’s family and saying his mom is really mad because she saw his knight in shining armor leaving at sunset, she was kinda nice to him.

He says Jack might have looked like a father figure to him, but he had a father and his father died and is probably ashamed of him as well. Enjoy early retirement at 25, stay gone.

Enter Luchasaurus.

He gets in the ring and chokes Cage, who tells him they need to talk, and not in front of these losers. Christian asks him to remember what happened to Marko and says he is like a son to him. He wants to talk privately and whispers something in the dinosaur man’s ear before kissing him and leaving together.

The Young Bucks are backstage with Kyle O’Reilly singing about having the tag titles again. People have been asking if they’re going to be at Forbidden Door, and it’s a safe bet they will be. O’Reilly says Sting should be locked up for what he did to her and at Forbidden Door they have the Bullet Club to take on Sting and his buddies.

Malakai Black vs. Penta Oscuro (AEW All-Atlantic Championship Tournament First Round Match)

Coming out early, off the ropes, Oscuro takes Black’s head with a super kick! Elbow connects, slingshot to apron, Penta trips it, off the ropes, tope con giro! A little back and forth, Sling Blade, ground action, Malakai throws a few kicks and puts it in the apron and we go to the break.
