A few clouds on Saturday with a sporadic shower, warmer

After a cooler day on Friday, the weekend brings us back to the warm side as we see highs in the 60s on Saturday, then mid to upper 70s on Sunday!

This morning we have an area of high pressure centered over our north and east. Some high to mid level cloud is present, with some areas of low level cloud also near the coast. A little light drizzle is possible or a stray shower – mainly on Saturday morning.

Good days for whatever you have planned outside this weekend.

This evening, some scattered fog is possible. We will see the warm front rise to the north overnight, then the winds will increase on Sunday.

Sunday will be a windy day, but that’s one of the reasons we’ll be so hot. Highs will climb into the upper 70s, near 80s at a few inland locations on Sunday. Monday we are even hotter – with highs around 80 even in the subway. The record for Sunday and Monday is 84°F.

The chance of rain increases late Monday night into Tuesday morning as a front approaches from the west. This front will help keep us a little cooler on Tuesday. This front then stops towards our south. An area of low pressure is rising along the front on Wednesday, helping to increase the chance of rain again. A few persistent patches of rain Thursday, before another chance Friday and early next weekend. Definitely a wetter pattern after several drier days.

Enjoy the weekend!
